The region

In off-the-beaten track Quercy Blanc, the barn (all yours) and house are surrounded by 70 acres of fields, forest and views.

Follow the trails; one leads to an old windmill with a view of the Pyrenees on a clear day.

Montcuq, medieval village 11km, a vibrant and popular tourist attraction, has a fabulous market on Sundays, where you can buy local food, cheese and wine and full of good places to eat and also home to our restaurant.

Lauzerte, a 15minute drive, is equally charming. For those interested in golf, there is a golf course 3km from the Gite.

This gentle region, wedged between Bordeaux, Toulouse and the river Lot, teems with small, often organic, food and wine producers.
